The Fallen's Rank/Grouping System for CozyQuest
First off, i've decided to put in four total groups. This is tenative for now because if there are more aspects of CQ that would require a division of a group or a creation of a new group, that will happen.
:The War Division:
This group is not dedicated to fighting necessarily. The Aim of the War Division is the following:
1) Recruit new members.
2) Negotiate with other guilds.
3) Set up alliances.
4) Set up Trade Deals, Tariffs, and Embargos.
5) If possible someday, declare war on other guilds.
>>>This Division has one Officer position available for a two-month term. The Officer can have a vice-officer to assist with these tasks. A week before the end of the two-month term, there is a vote for a replacement. The officer can run as many times as he or she wants.
Responsibilities of The War Division's Officer:
1) Determaning performance of The War Division's members (numbers of new recruits + referals)
2) Writing Weekly Point-based tallies for each War Division's member's rank. (probably want to set up an excel spreadsheet so you can just copy/paste or i will and send it to you).
3) Visiting other guild's forums and chats as well as visiting the Salty Siren to correspond with other guilds.
4) Assist members of The Fallen with Division transfers.
5) Corresponding with The Pestilence division for information on disgruntled members of other guilds via Private Messages to attempt recruitment.
:The Famine Division:
This group is dedicated to the following:
1) Accumulating resources, gold, supplies, equipment, etc.
2) Supplying guild members with relatively cheap or free equipment and supplies.
3) Using trade deals between guilds (if beneficial to us).
4) Checking the Auction Hall for good deals.
>>>This Division has three Officer Positions. Gold manager, Resource manager, and Equipment manager. Each Officer serves a 3-month term and is expected to keep track of their supplies (Again, excel spreadsheet would be extremely useful).
Responsibilities of the Gold manager (or The Fallen Banking Executive):
1) ***Log Regularly***
2) Hold excess gold from different guild members who have, keep track of what you're holding. We want to push this officer high on the high-score for gold.
3) Manage low-interest or free loans to guild members and normal-interest loans to non-guild members.
4) Set up Collateral for members you are unsure of or non-members before loans and track what it is.
5) Communicate with other officers to determine trustworthyness of members (feeling-based credit score )
6) Correspond with Famine Division officers to produce a weekly ranking of Famine Division members.
Responsibilities of the Resource manager (or The Fallen Black Marketier):
1) ***Log Regularly***
2) Hold donated and excess resources, keep track of who sent what and totals.
3) Provide supplies for members who need them for leveling up their skills and whatnot.
4) Correspond with Fallen merchants and assist them in any way you can.
5) Correspond with Famine Division officers to produce a weekly ranking of Famine Division members.
Responsibilities of the Equipment manager (or The Fallen Armorer):
1) ***Log Regularly***
2) Hold Excess/donated equipment found and made by guild members and keep track of who sent what.
3) Sell equipment outside of the guild for competitive prices and give extra gold to Gold manager to hold.
4) Fill equipment requests and keep track of who gets what. Donated equipment is The Fallen property and is to be used by members, only sold when the price is good or the equipment is in huge excess.
5) Correspond with Famine Division officers to produce a weekly ranking of Famine Division members.
:The Pestilence Division:
This group is dedicated to the following:
1) Gathering information on CozyQuest, Eluna, other guilds, other players, etc.
2) Finding members of other guilds who are willing to spy on their own guild for us IE: mail you private guild information.
3) Infiltrating other guilds, breaking members down from the inside. Corresponding with disgruntled members and relaying the information to the War division.
4) ***You do not need to be a member of The Fallen to be a member of The Pesilence Division.***
5) There aren't direct ranks in this division and will most likely be where most new members go to when first recruited.
>>>This Division has two officers: The Director of Internal Intelligence and the Director of External Intelligence. Each of these positions have no set term-length. If the officer decides to relinquish their position, they can do so. "Members" of this division (including spies in other guilds) are allowed to correspond with anyone they'd like even if it isn't the officer. The correspondant should forward important information to the officer.
Responsibilities for The Director of Internal Intelligence:
1) Corresponding with new members to answer questions not only about the guild, but also about CQ in general.
2) Inform the guild of new information including but not limited to strategies and tricks. Rather than posting rule-bending strategy, private message members directly or mail them in CQ.
3) Post gathered intelligence about CQ drop percentages or find beneficial guides to new "Games" like maura's puzzle.
4) This Officer is basically the non-tech tech support of the game for the guild. A pre-req for this position is good experience and communication skills.
Responsibilities for The Director of External Intelligence:
1) Correspond with members who have "connections" with members of other guilds and gather private information of other guilds.
2) Most information found will be private information. Please use private messages to maintain contact confidentiality.
3) Correspond with the Famine division to help trusted non-guild member spies and withdraw items/gold/equipment for spies so to maintain confidentiality.
4) -DO NOT GIVE AWAY OUR SPIES CONFIDENTIALITY TO ANYONE, INCLUDING GUILD MEMBERS- if a guild member is in correspondence with someone from another guild gathering information, they should only be sharing that information with the EID (this officer) and Hellfire. Beyond that, it is up to the spy who else they talk to. The information gathered could be vital down the road.
:The Death Division:
This group is dedicated to the following:
1) Gaining Levels/experience.
2) Monster killing.
3) Player killing.
4) Any other method of grinding.
>>>This division's ranking system is unique. Because there isn't any PVP in yet, it's hard to determine what the final ranking system is going to be. For now, the leaders or officers of this division will be the top three highest level players in this division. At some point down the road, this will probably factor in PVP. This is the kill-grinding division of The Fallen.
Ranks:
Level 1-9 : Scout
Level 10-15 : Soldier
Level 16-20 : Veteran
Level 21-25 : Paragon
Level 26-30 : Malevolent
Level 31-35 : Dark Shadow
Level 36-40 : Soul Eater
Level 41-45 : Death Knight
Level 46-50 : Demonic Overlord
The Death Division Officer responsibilities:
1) Because your primary responsibility within the division should be grinding, you are expected to lead by example. Grind please
2) Correspond and motivate your division to grind more often but don't hassle people if they don't feel like it or have free time.
3) If we ever have guild-wars, you will be managing and planning attacks.
4) Donate stuff you don't need to the Famine Division and assist them in providing members of your division proper equipment.
5) Don't burn yourself out, this is a marathon not a sprint (though i sprint marathons apparently )
Alright, lemme know what you guys think. We'll hold off on setting these divisions up until mail is back up so we can notify everyone. At that point i'm going to look for people to start applying for officer nominations. Officers are going to have more benefits such as being a part of the Guild Council. Each position will be voted on so if you're thinking of becoming an officer, now would be a good time to read over this and decide.. blah blah blah, i'm sick of typing now.
