Gold In most games this is obvious. However, I don't see a use for gold yet. I picked up all trade skills by level four and have a flame staff, apprentice's hat, and golden chainmail. The staff I paid for, made the gloves(paid for the cloth on the AH), and looted the chainmail. I saw somewhere that a Mage in his 30's still has this same equipment.
Tailoring The only things I can make is a hat and gloves and it doesn't look like the skill levels. I've sold about a dozen gems on the AH even though I don't know what to do with the cash. Should I hold on to them for something else? I suppose I coup make shdow draughts...
Shadow draughts Looted a few of em and can make em. Cure a HP and fills you with shadow. Potion for rogues?
Scevonshells What are these guys for?

ScevonshellsWhat are these guys for? Gold: there are some things that can only be bought from the in game merchants: such as the blacksmiths, weapons, armor etc. once you get to the spire you can donate to the gods for different items to become available. Such as the tordo god if you donate 4million gold the stargrip triblade becomes available for purchase from 1 to 2mil gold depending on your rad. So you're looking at 5 to 6mil gold to buy this (most expensive in game so far). The other gods have different items. for a mage hellfire can probably answer this better. Tailoring: Pretty much what you see in your window is what you get until they implement the advanced skill levels. i just hold on to all my elegant cloths for the day when we can increase this skill. shadow draughts: exactly, they are used to raise the rogue's shadow skill. shells: used in alchemy (level 4) is all i know of so far

In the 'The Town Square' - I believe at level 15 a quest becomes available called 'Thieves in the Dark'
The guys you kill in this quest drop elegant cloths like there's no tomorrow

Speaking of 'All that Glitters,' I just got the nail clippers. I see that it adds 5% Radiance but I'm not really sure how it "adds." I can't equip it, so does it just have to be in your inventory for the bonus to count? Also, if you have multiple clippers, does anybody know if the percentage stacks?

don't think they actually work, i just sell them all 75k per clipper from griz is what makes ya lotsa money in this game. plus for myself anyway i only have 1 radience so adding 5% wouldnt do anything

Also, speaking of nailclippers, they drop in all 3 of the quests listed as well.

Ok, thanks! I'm with you on the +5%. It wouldn't really help me out much either, so I'm just going to sell them off.

Ok, another question...
the game I have 40k saved up. Apparently, once I have a few million saved up I can buy another item. PvP is coming one day from what I've read, and that will be the only thing that makes this game multi-player. There is a mail system that we can mail stuff through (once its fixed) but other than that, there is virtually no interaction between players.
I guess maybe this isn't the game for me.

I guess maybe this isn't the game for me. there is going to be group quests and more guild functions and structure in the future, which is why we're trying to get The Fallen rolling now. If you read "what's cooking" and talk to Nils when he's on, he tell you what else he's planning. What you see now is only the beginning.

Ok, then I hope it goes somewhere. I wish I had the time to develop a game. My wife and I have the layout for something that is a cross of this game and Kingdoms Live that we think would be good (doesn't everybody?) but I don't have the time to develop it.
In the mean time, I'll continue grinding ever now and again.
