Earlier I complimented the Fallen on good progress in woodcutting aka lumberjack, but after better evaluation of the lumberjack ranking I must conclude that the Fallen is far behind compared to some other guilds. This is actually not a very good thing, because lumberjack is one of the key elements in CQ that can get you ahead. The monopoly of the iron club has a reason, look at the lumberjack ranking, at the richest players list and the number of people they recruit due to their wealth and possibilities to equip everyone to their teeth.
So I humbly urge all Fallen members to start chopping fanatically, as I have the last week. I know it seems a lot, 6000 pieces of wood to only start getting ravenpine, but the fruits of your labour will be sweet, trust me!
A tip is: move your iPhone/iPod clock next to CQ, set the timer on 5 minutes and just play CQ. When the alarm buzzes, chop wood, leave CQ, start the timer again and so on and so on.
So come on all, let's lumberjack!
Victory is callin' the Fallen!

Hear Hear! I do this at work whenever I can. If i'm sitting at home watching a ball game or something I won't want to grind, but i'll log in and chop wood every chance I can get. I didn't realize it was so critical in the beginning though, which is why I don't have as much...

That's great Shinovi! Together we will prevail
Maybe the tone of my post was a bit strong, but it was only well intended, my enthousiasm got the better of me... I also regret not knowing the importance of lumberjack sooner, then I would have started more seriously sooner as well. I wanted to make sure other members don't make the same mistake I did. That's all...

I'll try harder to focus on woodcutting. I get caught up grinding and forget for ages to cut wood.

I'm at 2300 or so. Feel like it's forever til I get close to 6000.
