Ok, this is more of a rant than anything...
Nils is obviously creative and talented enough to make a pretty fun game like this. I don't doubt his intelligence by any means.
That said...holy shit learn how to use spell check. I mean, it doesn't take much out of the development time. In fact, when I type, my shit underlines when I can't spell.
This is a forum, so I could really care less if I spell something wrong. But when you put out a product that possibly millions of people play and PAY for, you gotta double check that stuff. It only bothered me a little before, but everywhere I go now, it's like "holy shit, I think this guy might be retarded." It pretty much says to me, "I don't care about being professional. I am going to put in as little effort as necessary. Now give me your money"
I've sent him a few messages about the spelling too. Yet nothing gets changed...

haha, there's a spell check forum thread on the CQ website, everytime i posted something there, Nils has fixed the spelling/grammar in a week or two. FYI, Nils is from Denmark (he's a facebook friend with me ) so i'm going to assume from experience that english is probably not even his third or fourth language. I was room mates in college with a guy from Lithuania and he could speak like 8 languages. He learned english by literally moving to the US on a whim and picking it up piece by piece without class in like two years. Kinda makes me feel dumb when i struggled with spanish in high school, and it motivated me to work harder at it. I betcha the longer Nils does this, the better he'll be at it... after my experience living with one of those eastern europeans, i learned to be real lenient with people learning English.. after all, in college i did better in spanish than english

lol well I have to say as a programmer myself.. The interfaces we use to program in dont have a spell check! For example XCode, which Nils is probably using (its what I used when developing a app for the iphone for one of my assignments). He is probably more concerned with getting things up and running rather than going through and proof reading every little bit of dialogue in the game cuz I've made some pretty embarrassing spelling mistakes in some of my applications too, only to be discovered after implementation! But whats more important is.. IT WORKS
