selling crap is the easiest way to make gold, angel hearts from the alvin's cove first quest is -awesome- for gold, but check it out.. if you do the shark quest there (kill one shark to complete it) and hand in the quest after each kill, you'll make money REALLY fast that way too.
for now though, the best quest you can do for gold is the "All that glitters" quest in Ferona, it's level 20 i think. They drop a lot of chainmails which really don't sell for anything good anymore, but they're useful for guildmates who don't have them yet... but the boss at the end of it occasionally drops raveneyes (gems) which don't have any use yet, and golden nailclippers which sell for 75000g
i personally made all of my gold doing the undead militia and fire angels quest in alvins cove because it was the best available for a long time
(i did make like 8million gold in a week on all that glitters though, but i've been spending it)
BTW in case anyone is curious, don't believe people when they tell you just killing things and not handing in the quest is more efficient. the free exp and gold bonus for handing in a quest is a lot more useful than trying to kill another monster, lag or not it's faster to complete the quest.
